[ WHATCH VIDEO ] Our people are living with fear, Emir of Yashikira reveals Following the reaction by the Kwara State Command of the Police over alleged attack by a new group of terrorists occupying some villages in Kwara and Niger States, the Emir of Yashikira, Alhaji (Dr) Umaru Seriki Sabi Kpasi II, has raised alarm over the unfortunate development. He told ROYAL NEWS that he was shocked and disappointed that the police authority could not confirm the existence of the terrorists group even after heavy destruction and loss of lives had occured in the area. Recalled that the police at weekend refuted alleged emergence of a terror group named ‘Mahmuda’ within Kaiama and Baruten Local Government Areas of the state. The command also categorically dismissed the claim that 15 vigilantes have been killed by the terror group, describing it as false and devoid of any factual basis.
