U.S. President Donald Trump has disbanded the Kleptocracy Asset Recovery Initiative, a specialized unit within the Department of Justice (DOJ) responsible for tracing and recovering billions of dollars in stolen assets linked to corrupt foreign leaders. The initiative, launched in 2010, played a key role in high-profile cases, including the 1MDB scandal and the recovery of funds looted by former Nigerian head of state, Gen. Sani Abacha. Under the program, the DOJ successfully forfeited $23 million in Abacha-linked assets in 2022, bringing the total amount recovered to $334.7 million, which was repatriated to Nigeria. Southampton set to sign Nigerian winger The Nigerian winger for Antwerp is expected to sign with Southampton of the Premier League, despite having a difficult debut season. According to Het Niewusblad, Victor Udoh is expected to go from Antwerp to the Premier League. The 20-year-old Nigerian winger, who was just placed on the team's reserve squad, will depart the Belgian team on deadline day in order to sign with Southampton. He is reportedly going to start for Southampton's reserve team.  Antwerp supporters may be a little worried that the team is letting another winger go after losing Jacob Ondrejka to Parma this winter. The Swedish winger was having a great season with seven goals and five assists in 26 games, and with Michel-Ange Balikwisha also out with an injury, the team is currently lacking wide players.
