I Stopped Acting Movies When Some Vital Organs Were Damaged In My Body Due To Lupus Disease" Afolabi.
Popular Yoruba movie actress Kemi Afolabi has revealed one of the reasons she stopped acting movies recently, while also stating some of the steps she took that improved her health condition.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Kunleafod TV during an interview with Kunle Afod, she disclosed that she stopped acting movies when she fell sick, saying that some of her vital organs were affected at the time.
In her statement, she said, "The sickness started on the day of my housewarming party when I fell down and I took some treatments, but the sickness wouldn't go away, and that was when I had to call my doctor for a proper examination of my health. The sickness started getting worse by the day, and I spent a few months moving from one hospital to another in Nigeria. I stopped acting in movies when some vital organs were damaged in my body due to lupus. I decided to travel abroad, and I thank God that I received good treatment in America, and I also praise the work of Nigerian doctors because my treatment started from there."
